Ruto Told Kenyans Have Already Decided Their 2027 Pick, Informed Whom It'll be

Homa Bay Town Member of Parliament, Peter Kaluma, has predicted a comfortable win for President William Ruto in the 2027 election.

Kaluma says that Kenyans have already made up their minds after witnessing how much of a good leader Ruto really is.

He argues that consequently, they are united behind Ruto, whom he claims has demonstrated that all Kenyans are equal and deserve equal treatment.

According to the lawmaker, under Ruto's rule, the country is experiencing equal dispersal of resources, which was unheard of during the previous regimes.

"In 2027, Kenyans will unite to re-elect President William Ruto because Kenyans have been included and are treated as equal citizens and all regions are equally developed under his government, unlike before," he claims on X.

For Kaluma, Kenyans will be voting to ensure things remain as they are and to expel the thinking among some Kenyans that the country belongs to a specific group of people.

"We will vote to end and bury ethnic hegemony by those who believe they own Kenya to the exclusion of fellow citizens, forever."

His remarks, however, come at a time when there is a serious disagreement within his own ODM party regarding Ruto's re-election bid.

One section of the party, led by Secretary General Edwin Sifuna, is opposed to Ruto, and has publicly called upon the outfit to abandon him and seek a different approach ahead of the election.

On the other side are forces allied to Party Leader Oburu Oginga, who are pushing for a pre-election pact that will see the party be part of Ruto's post-2027 government.
