What Atwoli's Son Has Said About Death Of Former MP Cyrus Jirongo, Sparks Mixed Reactions Online

Prof. Lukoye W'Atwoli, son to COTU Secretary General Mr. Francis Atwoli, has caused abuzz online after speaking about the death of former MP for Lugari Constituency, Kakamega County Hon. Cyrus Jirongo.

In his post, Lukoye has spoken about how Jirongo almost messed up the economy of Kenya when he was the leader of Youth For KANU in 1992 ( YK92) who's agenda was to see the late President Daniel Moi remain in power.

In his post, Atwoli's son has again talked about how the late Jirongo tainted his name and reputation in 1990s, adding that the deceased got himself into serious corruption related matters, bribery, election manipulation and inflation.

To Lukoye, Jirongo was a bad leader and it is his wish that he would have survived the fatal accident so that one day one time, he would face the law of the land for having worked with anti-Kenya forces to mess up Kenya's economy for their own benefits. He said.

This post has attracted mixed reactions from netizens as it can be clearly seen from how they are commenting.

Some have gone to his official Facebook timeline, telling him that if Jirongo is to be blamed in death as a man who almost crippled the economy of the country, then he should add in that list the names of other politicians who were with him in YK92 during that time.

A netizen identified as Gideon Nakhone has commented saying," Now tell us about your father his dalliance with the same KANU , the kleptomaniacs associated with the said regime and who ard still in power today." He wrote.
