RIP: Photos Emerge Of 2 Bodaboda Riders Who Were Shot Dead By Police During Vihiga Protests

Photos have emerged of the two bodaboda riders who were shot dead by police during protests in Luanda, Vihiga County, an incident that has sparked widespread concern and calls for accountability.

The victims were identified as Dennis Omondo and Tonny Opudo.

The riders are said to have been shot during demonstrations along the Busia-Kisumu highway, where fellow bodaboda operators had taken to the streets to protest the confiscation of 27 motorcycles by law enforcement officers.

What began as a protest over the seized motorcycles quickly escalated into a tense standoff.

Riders blocked sections of the busy highway as they demanded the release of the impounded bikes.
