A report by RAMOGI TV revealed that the suspect, a fisherman, had a misunderstanding with his wife over his alleged lover.
The issue got out of hand, and he allegedly killed his six-year-old son, left his daughter injured, and fled.
The body of the deceased was moved to the mortuary, and the injured girl was rushed to the hospital where she was admitted.
Police who were called to the scene said that a postmortem will be conducted and also called on residents with any information that might assist in the ongoing investigations to come forward.
Investigators called on the 36-year-old suspect, who is currently on the run, to surrender to the nearest police station. MP Millie, who took to Facebook to confirm this news, reacted by saying, "Suba North again".

The deceased, identified as Jackline Awuor, went missing under unclear circumstances on her way to work, and her body was discovered in a quarry.
Her husband, who went into hiding in Kakamega, was arrested and taken back to Nakuru.
