Kalonzo Musyoka Thrown Under The Bus As Kamba Artist Says It's Better Ruto, Sifuna Or Matiang’i Be President

Kamba gospel artist Stephen Kasolo has sparked fresh political debate after openly criticizing Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka casting doubt on his ability to lead the country.

In a strongly worded statement that has quickly gained traction online Kasolo challenged Kalonzo’s capacity to handle national leadership arguing that unresolved local issues reflect deeper weaknesses.

The singer pointed to Kalonzo’s perceived inability to address a relatively minor dispute involving fellow artist

Sammy Kioko suggesting that failure to manage such matters raises serious questions about his readiness to govern a nation as complex as Kenya.

According to Kasolo leadership requires decisiveness, clarity and the ability to resolve conflicts effectively qualities he implied are currently lacking.

Kasolo did not stop at criticism.

He went further to compare Kalonzo unfavorably with other prominent political figures, including President William Ruto Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna and former Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i.

In his view these leaders demonstrate stronger leadership traits and a better grasp of governance.

The remarks have triggered mixed reactions among Kenyans, particularly within the Kamba community where both Kasolo and Kalonzo command significant influence.

Some have supported the artist’s boldness, praising him for speaking candidly about leadership standards.

Others however have criticized him for dragging internal community matters into the national political arena arguing that such statements risk deepening divisions.

Political analysts note that public figures especially those with large followings like Kasolo play a growing role in shaping political discourse.

His comments reflect a broader trend where entertainers are increasingly vocal about governance and accountability often resonating with younger audiences who feel disconnected from traditional political messaging.

For Kalonzo the criticism adds to ongoing scrutiny as he positions himself within Kenya’s evolving political landscape.

Whether the remarks will have any lasting political impact remains to be seen but they have undeniably reignited conversations about leadership, accountability and public expectations.

As the debate unfolds one thing is clear voices from outside conventional politics are becoming harder to ignore and their influence may continue to shape the direction of national conversations in unexpected ways.
