"Wantam" Chants Rent The Air As Gen Zs Chant At Ruto While Arriving At WRC Safari Rally In Naivasha

A group of energetic Gen Z youth caused a moment of political excitement when they chanted “Wantam” as William Ruto arrived at the final day of the WRC Safari Rally in Naivasha.

The President had travelled to Naivasha to officially close the world-famous motorsport event.

The rally had attracted thousands of fans from across Kenya and visitors from different parts of the world. Many spectators lined up along the venue as the Head of State arrived.

As his motorcade approached the rally grounds, a section of young people began chanting the word “Wantam.”

The phrase, which has recently become popular in political discussions among youth online and in public gatherings, was shouted loudly as the president waved to the crowd.

Despite the chants, the president maintained a calm mood. He greeted the crowd and waved as he entered the venue. Security officers and rally officials continued with the planned program without disruption.
