"I've Never Lost" New Political Earthquake as Jalang'o Interview on his Senatorial Bid Sparks a Vigorous Online Debate

Popular comedian-turned-Lang'ata MP Jalang'o, fondly called Jalas, is making big waves with his bold plan to run for Nairobi Senator in 2027.

He wants to unseat the current Senator Edwin Sifuna in what promises to be a hot and funny political battle.

In a sharp interview, a journalist asked: "Jalas, why do you want to become a senator?"Jalas replied: "We have a governor who works well, but oversight is a problem."

The journalist said: "If the governor is working well, that means good oversight."Jalas shot back: "No. There is poor oversight."

When pressed on what he would oversee that Sifuna is not doing, Jalas listed: "I want to build roads, connect electricity, and support women's development."

The journalist questioned: "Is that the job of a senator? Is that oversight?"Jalas answered confidently: "Yes. As a comedian, I have seen many creators suffer. I will oversee the governor to ensure he collects garbage and improves the lives of comedians."

The questions got tougher: "As a member of parliament, which motion have you sponsored?"Jalas hit back: "I have Jalang'o TV. That is already bigger than any motion."

He went further when asked if he thinks he is better than Sifuna, a skilled lawyer with deep political experience who often grills governors. "Yes," Jalas said. "As a comedian, I improved the lives of creators.

I will use those skills to do oversight in Nairobi much better than any lawyer or experienced party SG can do. I also have a degree in community development. I will use it to collect garbage."

The journalist ended with sarcasm: "You deserve it. Kenyans should vote for you."Jalas closed proudly: "I have never lost. I am better than Sifuna."

Jalas mixes his comedy roots, media success, and community focus to promise real change on issues like garbage collection, roads, and power.

He claims his fresh approach beats traditional politics. With even President Ruto recently calling him "Nairobi Senator 2027" in public, the race is heating up fast.

Will the funny man's confidence win votes, or will Sifuna's experience hold strong? Nairobians will decide in 2027.
