Fear Of Phone Spying? Gachagua Advises Civil Servants Sharing Secrets With Him To Change Tactics

Rigathi Gachagua has again caused big talk in the country after he told some civil servants who normally share information with him to stop calling him on WhatsApp and instead start using Signal.

According to Gachagua, he believes some people have started secretly listening to phone calls and reading messages.

While speaking during a public gathering, Gachagua said that there are government officers who quietly pass information to him about what is happening inside government offices.

He claimed that these officers are worried about how some things are being done in government and they feel the public should know the truth.

Because of this, he said some of them normally send him messages or call him to explain what is going on behind the scenes. But according to Gachagua, things have now become dangerous.

He said he has reasons to believe that some powerful people may be monitoring phone calls and checking messages in order to know who is communicating with him.

Because of that fear, he advised the civil servants to avoid using WhatsApp when they want to talk to him about serious matters.

Instead, he told them they should use Signal because he believes it is more safe and more private. He explained that Signal protects conversations better and it is not easy for other people to listen or see the messages being shared.

Gachagua said the safety of the officers who speak to him is very important and he does not want them to get into problems because of sharing information.

He also told the crowd that the civil servants who talk to him are not criminals and they are not doing anything bad. According to him, they are simply trying to help the country by exposing issues they feel are not being handled in the right way.

He said Kenya belongs to all citizens and even government workers have the right to speak when they see things going wrong.

His statement has quickly spread across social media and started a big debate among Kenyans. Some people believe Gachagua is telling the truth and that there could be people secretly listening to communications.

Others think his comments are political and meant to create more tension in the country’s politics. Even with these different views, the remarks have added another serious conversation about privacy, government power, and trust inside public offices.
