Bad News To Sifuna As Oburu Makes This Major Announcement On 10-point Agenda

ODM party leader Oburu Odinga has sent a strong message, the 10-point agenda between ODM and UDA is not ending anytime soon.It will continue well past the 2027 general elections.

Speaking recently, Oburu stressed that the agreement, born from talks between President William Ruto and the late Raila Odinga, tackles deep national issues that cannot be fixed in just a few years.

The 10 points include full rollout of the National Dialogue Committee (NADCO) report, fighting corruption, creating youth jobs, reducing debt, boosting devolution, and ensuring inclusive government.

Oburu says these reforms are long-running.Problems like poor governance, economic hardship, and division do not vanish quickly.

He points to progress already made, such as more inclusive leadership and ongoing projects, and insists the work must keep going for real change to take root.

This view ties into ODM's plan to stay in the broad-based government.Oburu has said the party will push hard in talks with UDA for a fair share of power in 2027 and beyond.

He honors Raila's wish to keep ODM influential in national leadership, not return to opposition. The agenda, he argues, is about building a better Kenya for all, not short-term politics.

Critics question if this means permanent power-sharing or just a way to hold onto positions. Some in ODM worry it distracts from party strength or ignores public suffering like high costs and job losses.

Yet Oburu remains firm, the agenda is bigger than any election cycle.True success will show if these reforms deliver lasting benefits or simply extend political alliances.
