Uhuru Reportedly Convenes Crisis Meeting to Flush Out Raila's Allies in Parliamentary Positions

Nation.Africa has this evening reported that former and retired President Uhuru Kenyatta has plans to flush out disloyal members of the Azimio La Umoja from parliamentary positions.

Sources who spoke off camera told the Nation that the former Head of State is capitalising on cracks in ODM to allow disgruntled members to vie in 2027 via Azimio tickets, while those who want to join the broad-based government do so in peace.

In Parliament, Suna East Member of Parliament Junet Mohamed, who was ousted as the director of elections last week, will be in for a shock after the much-awaited meeting. 

Sources told the Nation that already, it is a matter of time before names are relayed to Uhuru for confirmation.

But the development came a day after Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka read malice, accusing the government of blocking the government printer from printing the Gazette Notice that could have seen him declared as the Party Leader.
