The announcement was made through his social media platforms on Valentine’s Day. He called on supporters to turn up in large numbers for the day-long activities in Kajiado County.
The event will begin with a church service at ACK St. Peter’s Orkeju Emunyak in Kisaju under the Diocese of Kajiado. The service will run from 10.00am to 1.00pm and will focus on prayers and worship.
Later in the afternoon, the tour will move to Kitengela Central Business District. The mega rally is scheduled from 2.00pm to 5.00pm. Organisers expect a large crowd drawn from Kitengela and neighbouring areas.
The Linda Mwananchi Tour has been framed as a people-centered engagement platform. It aims to bring leaders closer to citizens and address local concerns directly.
The Kitengela edition follows a series of political activities that have intensified across different regions of the country.
