Kileleshwa MCA Robert Alai Sends Message To CS John Mbadi After He Called for Expulsion of Edwin Sifuna from ODM

Kileleshwa Member of County Assembly, Robert Alai, has backed Treasury CS John Mbadi's call for expulsion of Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party Secretary General Edwin Sifuna from the party.

In his recent remarks, John Mbadi said the senator has been selling other people's agenda, defying ODM Party leader Dr. Oburu Odinga.

Mr. Mbadi, who was speaking about the current political situation, said that Sifuna cannot remain in ODM because he is allegedly conflicted.

John Mbadi: "Sifuna will not remain in ODM because he is conflicted. He is selling someone else's agenda.

When I was chairman of the party and Ababu Namwamba brought problems to the party, we got rid of him. Sifuna does not know where the registration certificate of ODM is.

If he does, let him post it on WhatsApp. He can leave with the people he is going to leave with. We don't want people who are opposing the party leader."

Mbadi affirmed that ODM will remain in the broad-based government where the late former Prime Minister Raila Odinga left it.

He argued that ODM can't join former Deputy President of Kenya, Rigathi Gachagua, or Presidential hopeful Fred Matiang'i.

Alai, who took to X (formerly Twitter) to react, alleged that ODM Party leader, Dr. Oburu Odinga, isn't able to act on Sifuna.
