A close confidant of the late Tabuga, Presbyterian Church of East Africa (PCEA) church pastor Julius Ndumia has alleged why the clergy man was killed after he (Ndumia) allegedly kept on expressing concerns for his safety in the days leading up to his untimely demise.
As per the confidant, in the last days of Pastor Ndumia's life, he was always in fear for his life, allegedly due to leadership disputes within the church.
As a result, Robert Waihenya, a fellow clergyman has now indicated that as a result of Ndumia's murder, others ministers are now feeling threatened and have been left questioning whether the attack is linked to internal church conflicts or if it was orchestrated by an outsider.
Unknown to many, pastor Julius Ndumia was brutally attacked in his house located within the church compound in Lanet, Nakuru, before he was killed by unknown armed individuals, on the night of Sunday, 3rd May, 2026.
According to investigate officers, Ndumia was probably hit with a sharp object like an axe during the attack as his lifeless body contained a a severe neck injury.
On the fateful night, the attackers also injured the church watchman after torturing him and before they fled into thin air, they ransacked the pastor's residence and the office where Ndumia used to operate from. However, the individuals stole nothing even after the thorough search whose motive is still unclear.
