Raphael Tuju who is a politician, media professional, and also businessman has today spoken on where he acquired his properties revealing that Karen and his Upper Hill prime lands he got them when he was in his twenties.
Raphael Tuju who was on an interview said that his journey in acquiring properties began 40 years ago when he bought land and according to him Nairobi was largely undeveloped.
According to him an acre was Ksh. 100,000 and the minimum one can buy was Ksh. 250,000 and he borrowed a loan of Ksh. 180,000 at National Bank.
He has revealed that he was even forced to sell his car to get to the Ksh. 250,000 just for him to acquire the Karen Premises.
He has reported that the decision he made to buy the said property started setting him a pathway to owning other new properties.
Among the new properties he is now owning from the decision is Upper hill which according to him is boosting his value for early investments.
