Advocate of the High Court, Wahome Thuku, has weighed in on the remarks made by former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, who said he will not engage President William Ruto on insults and abuse.
According to reports, the former Deputy President of Kenya, who was speaking while welcoming former Senator Millicent Omanga to the DCP party, said insults will be left to the foot soldiers.
He called on Kenyans to join the DCP party, which he said is going to form the next government or be part of the next government.
"I will not engage the President on insults and abuse. That I am going to leave to the foot soldiers. I will now engage him on matters development as my competitor in the upcoming general elections in Kenya.
The only issues I have with him are the embezzlement of funds, sale of public assets, among others," Rigathi said.
The former Deputy President of Kenya also called on Kenyans to work hand in hand with DCP, which he said will also take the majority of the seats across the country.
Former Nyeri MP Wambugu, who reacted, asked which issues Rigathi is willing to engage in with the President.
On March 20, Mr. Thuku, who took to Facebook to confirm this news, asked why insults towards the President will be left to the foot soldiers and why there is a need to insult the President.
