Sgt. Obadiah, the Vioja Mahakamani actor known as Mzae Comedy, has died, shocking fans and family.

The family has shared how he died, announced funeral plans, and is asking for financial help to give him a proper send-off.

Speaking with TUKO.co.ke, the family said Sgt. Obadiah died at Komarock Modern Hospital on Sunday, March 8, 2026, after having trouble breathing, apparently from pneumonia. The actor's real name was Joseph Githinji Mukaria.
