“No Reason to Be Alive” Amos Rotich’s Last Words After Surviving Crash 30 Minutes Revealed

A memorial service is being held at the Baptist Church in Karen for Emurua Dikirr MP Johana Ng’eno and five others who died in a helicopter crash in Nandi County.

One of the victims was Amos Rotich, a Kenya Forest Service officer who survived the initial crash but later passed away. During the service, Amos's family shared the story of his last moments.

After being pulled from the wreckage, Amos, still alive, kept asking about MP Ng'eno's condition, unaware that Ng'eno had already died.

According to his family, Amos said, If Johana Ng’eno has perished, there is no reason for me to be alive. He died two minutes later, leaving those present heartbroken.

The crash happened on Saturday, February 28, in Mosop, Nandi County, killing six people.

Officials are still looking into what caused the crash and will send some aircraft parts overseas for analysis.

The incident has saddened the families and the country. Attendees at the memorial service described a somber mood as people shared memories of the deceased.

MP Ng’eno’s widow, Nayianoi Ntutu, gave a touching tribute to her husband, bringing many to tears.

Amos Rotich's final words remind us of the human side of such tragedies. It's a reminder of the friendships, loyalty, and bravery that exist, even when things are tough.

As the investigation continues, the victims' families are looking for answers and remembering their loved ones.
