Millicent Omanga Reveals Reasons For Dumping UDA To DCP, Accuses Pres Ruto of Doing This To Her

Nairobi Woman Representative aspirant, Millicent Omanga, has said that President William Ruto does not deserve a second term for allegedly lying to Kenyans.

Omanga, who was speaking about the current political situation, said that she ditched the United Democratic Alliance party over the alleged lies of the president.

She accused the head of state of giving fake promises.

"President William Ruto lied not only to me but also to all women who voted for him. The President said that women were going to get 50 percent of his government.

He said girls in public schools will get free sanitary towels. He said new mothers will get free diapers. He also removed the Linda Mama and what not," Millicent Omanga said.

She mourned the late former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, saying that the deceased died with the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party.

She revealed that she last spoke to President Ruto during the first year of his presidency.

"The last time I spoke to the President was during his first year as a president. I joined the DCP and left the United Democratic Alliance party because of betrayal. 

I did not join the Orange Democratic Movement party because I believe the late former Prime Minister Raila Odinga died with the party," Omanga said.
