I Was Mocked for My Accent, Rejected from Every Job Interview, and Felt Like My Dreams Were Crumbling—Until One Unexpected Encounter Changed Everything

  

Growing up in a small village, I never imagined my voice would one day be heard across the country. In school, many people mocked the way I spoke. 

My accent was strong, and whenever I tried to speak English in class, some students would laugh.

At first I tried to ignore them, but deep inside those moments slowly damaged my confidence. I began avoiding opportunities that required speaking in front of others because I feared being embarrassed again. Even after finishing college, the problem followed me everywhere.

I attended many job interviews hoping to work in media or advertising, but the results were always the same.

Some interviewers would politely tell me they had chosen another candidate, while others openly hinted that my accent was not suitable for professional voice work.

Each rejection made me feel like the doors to my dream career were permanently closed. For a long time I believed the problem was simply bad luck. 

However, the strange thing was that even jobs unrelated to voice work seemed to slip away from me at the last moment.

Friends who had less experience were getting opportunities while I remained stuck. I began to feel frustrated and confused because nothing I tried seemed to move my life forward.
