Pauline Njoroge Reacts After Ruto Allegedly Reaches Out To Senior ACK Leaders Over Gachagua's Recent Attack

Pauline Njoroge has sharply criticised the violent disruption of a church service at Witima ACK Church in Othaya, calling it a worrying sign of rising abuse of power in the country.

The incident, which was linked to an attack on former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, shocked many Kenyans because it happened inside a place meant for peace and worship.

Njoroge argued that what happened in Othaya was not a random act.

She said there is already clear public information showing how the attackers arrived at the church.

Details about the vehicle used, the Sacco connected to it, and images of some people involved are widely shared.

Njoroge also reacted to reports that the President reached out to senior leaders of the Anglican Church after the incident. While she acknowledged this move, she stressed that communication alone cannot solve the problem.

She maintained that real action is needed to show that there was no involvement or protection of those responsible.

However, she also pointed to a recent case where a government-aligned MCA was seen threatening another leader with a gun. Even though the incident was captured on video, no action followed.

She said such cases show a growing culture of impunity, where those close to power act without fear of consequences.
