"I Don't Know Why You Are Confused" How Mutahi Reacted After Being Challenged To Pick Political Side

Governor Mutahi Kahiga has spoken clearly about his political stand. He said he voted for William Ruto and he is not hiding it.

Kahiga said William Ruto is his president, and he does not know why people are confused about that simple fact.

The governor said elections ended and Kenyans made a choice. According to him, William Ruto won the election and became president legally.

He said whether people like it or not, Ruto is the head of state. Leaders should accept the results and stop acting confused or shocked.

Kahiga said he sees no problem saying the truth. He voted for Ruto, and he stands by that decision.

He said leaders should be honest instead of talking in circles. To him, politics should not force leaders to lie or pretend just to please some groups.

He also said working with the national government is important. He explained that when county leaders work well with the president, development moves faster.

Roads get built, hospitals get support, water projects move on, and services reach the people. Fighting the government, he said, only delays progress.

The Nyeri governor said some people want leaders to abuse the president in public while still expecting help from the same government.

He said that way of thinking makes no sense. According to him, respect and cooperation help the people more than insults and noise.

Kahiga said supporting the president does not mean blind support. He said a leader can support the government and still speak out when things are going wrong. Support does not mean silence. It means working together for the good of the people.

He also told Kenyans to stop living in campaign mode. He said campaigns are over, and it is now time to work. Leaders should focus on service delivery, not daily political fights.

In his message, Kahiga said he has no regrets at all. He voted for William Ruto, and he is comfortable with that choice. He said Ruto is his president and the president of Kenya.

He ended by saying Kenyans should accept reality, stop the confusion, and move forward as one country, focused on development and peace.
