Kalonzo Musyoka Makes Plea to William Ruto Amid Rising Concerns in Education

Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has called on President William Ruto to urgently address growing concerns within the education sector, warning that continued challenges could undermine learning outcomes across the country.

Speaking amid rising public debate on school funding, teacher shortages, and implementation gaps in recent education reforms, Kalonzo urged the government to prioritize stability in the sector.

According to the PS, this is the first time the country has had a president focused on balancing development in every corner of Kenya.

His remarks come at a time when the Kenya Kwanza administration has been under pressure from critics questioning the impact of some of its economic policies.

Despite the criticism, government officials continue to insist that major infrastructure, electricity, roads, water and housing projects are reaching areas that were previously sidelined.

Omollo argued that past administrations often concentrated development in selected regions, leaving many communities feeling excluded from national progress.

He maintained that the current administration is trying to change that narrative by ensuring counties receive equal attention from the national government.

The statement has already sparked reactions online, with supporters of the government praising the administration for expanding projects to rural areas while critics argue that Kenyans are yet to fully feel the economic benefits on the ground.

His comments also appeared to align with the latest Facebook discussions surrounding government performance and regional inclusivity, where leaders allied to President Ruto have been defending ongoing projects across the country.

Supporters say visible investments in roads, affordable housing, fresh produce markets and electricity connectivity are proof that development is becoming more balanced.

As the political temperatures slowly begin to rise ahead of 2027, statements like Omollo’s are expected to continue fueling debate on whether the current government has truly succeeded in uniting the country through equal development.
