The head of state and government president William Ruto might end up picking either Kirinyaga governor Ann Waiguru or even the Homabay governor Gladys Wanga as Running Mate a Head of the much awaited August 2027 general elections in the country.

The two female politicians have for the past few years proven that they can be trusted by the higher office in the country hence, could easily be picked by the head of the state and government president William Ruto. 

First, Being Female gives them an upper hand to be picked by the president as women will also feel included within the presidency hence this can encourage the president to pick one of them as his running mate.

Second, Political influence; both Waiguru and Wanga enjoys massive support both from Kirinya and Homa Bay counties. This can prompt Ruto to picking one of them as his running mate a head of the upcoming polls.

Hence should Ruto puts the issue of gender into consideration, then Waiguru or Wanga is the nest bet for him a head of the polls.
