What Locals Were Allegedly Heard Chanting in Kiharu Shortly After President Ruto Left

A video showing what section of locals allegedly did in Kiharu shortly after President Ruto left has been shared on social media eliciting mixed reactions.

President Ruto earlier during the day received a warm reception in Kiharu, Murang'a where he is currently on a two-day development tour. 

However a video allegedly showing locals chanting 'Wantam' shortly after the president left has surfaced on social media and elicited mixed reactions. 

The alleged video shared by renowned blogger Cyprian Nyakundi captured a section of locals chanting Wantam shortly after President Ruto left Kiharu.

According to the blogger, the locals also set ablaze UDA-branded merchandise while chanting 'Wantam' a phrase used by the opposition to campaign against Ruto's re-election in next year's general elections.

This followed President Ruto's development tour in Murang'a County. The Head of State kicked off his development tour today where he addressed a huge crowd at Murang'a town. 

However an alleged video showing locals chanting Wantam and setting ablaze UDA-branded merchandise shortly after he left Kiharu has surfaced and elicited mixed reactions.
