"I Walked With Raila Many Times But We Never Pulled A Massive Crowd Like This" Kalonzo In Kisii

Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka today praised Kisii residents for turning out in large numbers during an opposition rally in Keroka.

Speaking to the cheering crowd, Kalonzo said he had never seen such a huge turnout in Kisii, even when he was with the late Kalonzo Musyoka. “I have never seen a crowd like this in Kisii before. This is amazing,” he said.

He congratulated the residents for showing their support and for coming together peacefully to listen to the leaders. Kalonzo said the large crowd shows that Kenyans are ready for change and are standing up for their rights.

The rally was also attended by former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, former Interior CS Fred Matiang’i, DAP-K leader Eugene Wamalwa, Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya, and former Education CS Fred Machogu.

During the rally, Matiang’i warned residents that everyone has a constitutional right to hold political rallies anywhere in the country.

He also urged people not to fight anyone, no matter their political affiliation, and warned President Ruto against sending goons to attack opposition events.

Gachagua, meanwhile, defended young leaders like Kitutu Chache South MP Anthony Kibagendi, who was recently suspended from Parliament, and slammed claims that his visit to Kisii was being blocked.

The rally in Keroka highlighted growing political activity as leaders from the United Opposition tour the country, mobilizing support ahead of the 2027 General Election.

Residents cheered loudly as leaders delivered their messages, signaling a strong opposition presence in Kisii.
