"I Will Finish You" — Kimani Ichung'wah Reveals The Heated Call That Ended His Friendship With Uhuru

National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung'wah has opened up about the explosive late night phone call with former President Uhuru Kenyatta that permanently ended their political friendship, revealing that the conversation descended into threats so severe that he eventually blocked Uhuru's number and has not spoken to him since.

Speaking in an interview with content creator Oga Obinna, Ichung'wah recounted that when he and Uhuru fell out, he confronted the former president with a simple reminder, it was Uhuru himself who introduced him to William Ruto and instructed him to work with him.

Without a compelling reason to abandon that loyalty, Ichung'wah told Uhuru he could not simply walk away on his say so. What followed, he says, shocked him.

"I was threatened. I was told, I will crush you, I will finish you," Ichung'wah revealed, describing the threats as coming repeatedly across multiple calls that same night.

Rather than bow to the pressure, Ichung'wah chose to end the conversation on his own terms. He told the former president that out of respect for his seniority he would not respond in kind, and politely disconnected the call.

Uhuru called back with more threats. Ichung'wah told him the worst he could do was kill him, and if that was his intention, to do it that night. He then blocked the former president's number.

"Mpaka wa leo," he said. To this day.
