Shockwaves in ODM Party as Geoffrey Osotsi Makes Disturbing Revelation on What's Happening Within the Party

Recent revelation by Orange Democratic Movement Co-Deputy Party Leader Godfrey Osotsi has sent shockwaves through the party, exposing deep internal divisions and concerns over its independence.

In an interview, the Vihiga Senator claimed that ODM is effectively being run from State House.

He alleged that clandestine meetings outside formal party structures are now dictating major political decisions, particularly those shaping the party's direction ahead of the 2027 General Election.

Osotsi pointed to secret engagements that sideline official organs, accusing certain leaders of allowing external influence to override party independence.

Osotsi, a vocal critic of any move toward endorsing President William Ruto's re-election, emphasized that key decisions such as coalition talks and the June deadline for implementing the 10-point reform agenda are being made without proper consultation within ODM's established frameworks.

He indirectly referenced sidelining figures like Dr. Oburu Oginga in these processes, suggesting a loss of autonomy since the broad-based government arrangement.

The deputy leader expressed frustration that the party is missing opportunities to unite its supporters and address grassroots issues.

He insisted ODM should remain a formidable opposition force, potentially fielding its own presidential candidate in 2027 rather than aligning with the current administration.

Osotsi rejected claims that the 10-point agenda items have been fully implemented, calling for transparency and a return to internal decision-making.

His statements highlight growing rifts within ODM, where some officials favor closer ties with the government, while others, like Osotsi, resist what they see as a takeover.

This development raises questions about the party's future cohesion and strategy in a politically charged environment.
